JUNIORS

Junior (youth) rowing programs are offered in Spring, Summer, and Fall.

  • Spring season, from February through late May, focuses on short races and concludes with the regional championship regatta in Vancouver, WA. Rowing is an official BHS club sport in the spring, open to any student eligible to attend BHS.

  • Summer season, from late June through early August, is less formal, a good time to get or stay in shape, improve your form, or just give rowing a try. College students in the area for the summer are also welcome. Juniors are also welcome in most Learn to Row classes, but do not need to take a class before participating in any of the Junior programs.

  • Fall season, from early September through early November, focuses on longer distance races and typically concludes with the Head of the Lake Regatta on Lake Washington.
